No country for old men is an interesting novel by Cormac McCarthy which has opened many discussions about various topics. The characters have been created very thoughtfully that highlights the main plot of the story. According to me the Sheriff of Terrell County is the hero in this novel and he has been also portrayed as the protagonist of this literary piece. The world is going through a drastic change and there is no doubt about the fact that everyone is trying to adapt to it. Corruption and violence has increased to such an extent that it has become almost normal and this is what is Ed Tom Bell fighting against.
